Consider, for example, occupational allergies such as a hairdresser with latex allergy, a bricklayer that can not tolerate cement, … Allergy can have a very large impact on the quality of life of a patient. When we look at cosmetics and make-up, we notice that patients are looking for good and safe-to-use alternatives. When the patient finds a product that he / she can tolerate well, they often remain loyal to this product.

ACCORDING TO YOU, WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON INGREDIENTS THAT ARE ALLERGICALLY RESPONDED TO?

Lisette: These are the ingredients upon which have been reacted the most lately: perfume, parabens, formaldehyde, cocamidopropyl-betaine, propylene glycol, methylisothiazolinone.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IMPORTANT TIPS FOR LADIES WITH SENSITIVE EYES OR SKIN?

Lisette : When having frequently heavy allergic reactions, we recommend to have an epicutaneous test (contact allergy test / patch test). We can test up to 80 ingredients that you may have allergic reactions to. If further examinations are needed, we can refer you to an allergist in the hospital.
